Competition Summer Information
Competition Program Registration & Fees
At The Dance Conservatory of Southern Maine, all competition dancers are required to participate in our 8-week summer trimester to maintain their training and growth.
Momentum & Pre-Pro Dancers: In addition to the summer trimester, dancers in these levels must also attend our In-Studio Convention Week.
Registration & Payment Details
Competition registration is due upon signing your contract, which must be submitted by May 30th.
Registration fees vary based on your level and the number of competitions/conventions you attend.
The base competition registration fee (covering two local competitions) is $150, with an additional $50 per extra competition/convention.
Your competition selection list is due at the time of contract signing.
In-Studio Convention Discount
If you prepay for the In-Studio Convention before May 1st, you'll receive a $20 discount!
If you have not signed up by June 1st, we will enroll your dancer for you, and you will be charged in full unless you email us to request a three-month payment plan for the summer.
Additional Fees & Due Dates
Solo/Duet/Trio & Guest Choreography Fees are due by June 1st. If you'd like to spread payments over the summer, please email us before the deadline. Otherwise, the full amount will be charged automatically.
June tuition is also due on June 1st.
Competition costume fees are due by August 15th.
